Window Tint Care Guide
A little patience now keeps your new tint looking its best. Start here, then save this guide for your next clean.
Start here
First: let the film settle
- Keep tinted windows fully closed for at least 3 days after installation. Follow a longer waiting period if our team specified one for your film or the weather.
- Leave the inside of the tinted glass alone while the film dries. Do not press on bubbles, lift an edge, attach suction cups, or try to smooth the film yourself.
- A little haze or small moisture pockets can appear during drying. They should gradually improve; cooler or damp weather can slow the process.
Once the film has dried
- Clean the inside glass with an ammonia-free cleaner that is safe for window film.
- Use a clean, soft microfiber cloth and light pressure. Spray cleaner onto the cloth, then wipe gently.
- Keep abrasive pads, scrapers, razor blades, and adhesive accessories off the film. Take care around its edges and rear-window defroster lines.
Something does not look right?
